what do I do with my breath?
Are you suppose to brush your tongue with your toothbrush if you dont have a tongue cleaner? I have…a little problem with my breath. I want it to smell like nothing like other people I know. After about an hour after brushing my teeth, it starts to get that familiar bad odor. It also takes on the smell of the food I just ate. I use a Water Pik, brush 2 times a day, and use mouth wash. I soak my brush bristles in some Listerine cause I saw in a magazine it helps kill leftover bacteria. I have braces so I cant chew gum. Mints wont help much, the breath comes back.

What in garlic causes bad breath?
What are the components/bacteria/molecules that stick to your mouth, tongue, teeth, etc that cause bad breath?
Garlic has a chemical compound called caposin that gives it the unique odor. It actually gets into your blood stream and much of the smell is from your lungs when you breath.
