Why are my sinuses bad when i fly?
Any time i am required to fly, i dread it, knowing that for the entire time i am on a flight i have, a runny nose, sneezes and a slight restriction of breath. Is there any cures that can help with this as i am required to fly about 3 times a year and although its not a lot, at the time it makes it very unpleasant. Any help or advice would be great.
The air in the cabin is really dry. This can irritate your sinuses. It is also putting pressure on your sinus cavities as the cabin goes up.
I prefer sudaphed as it won’t make me tired. It will dry out your sinuses temporarily. I also drink warm water or tea (herbal tea such as gypsy cold care are great)
You may also be sensitive to toxins in the cabin. If you take a claritin 1 per day for 3 days before you fly and the day of your flight you may find your reactions are a bit easier. Good luck and I’m glad you only need to fly 3 X per year!
Im really sick! can anyone help me?
Ive had a cold for 5 days and im still not cured! its not really bad, i just have A LOT of ANNOYING sinus congestion. and my voice is hoarse. ive read that i can “breath in” vapor but I CANT BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE!!! please help me! what can i do?
its not the swine flu, i already checked it out
Yeah, go to the doctor. Stand in the shower with the hottest water you can stand and try slowly breathing through your nose. You may need an antibiotic though. Sounds serious. If I couldn’t breath through my nose it would drive me crazy. Must be hard to eat when you can’t breath. Good luck.
