Do I have acute or chronic sinusitis?

I’ve had frequent sore throats and blocked sinuses for about 2 years, and I’m constantly sick. The longest I’ve gone without being sick is 3 months, sadly. I have halitosis, and constant post-nasal drip. Since February, I’ve had sinusitis 3 times. Is it recurring acute sinusitis, or chronic? Because it goes away sometimes for a little while but it always comes back.

I would say you have chronic sinusitis– your first step should be to visit an ear, nose, and throat specialist. They’ll probably be able to diagnose the causes of your ailment, of which there are many (allergies, GERD, etc.). They’ll probably put you on a strong antibiotic and run a series of tests.
