Yes, I have tried the dog treats that make dogs breath smell better.
Dont get me wrong, these things do work, but only for a few minutes.
Any tips on how I can get my dog Lila’s breath to smell better? (shes not very lady-like with all that bad breath) ![]()
Please&&thankyou
=)
If her bad breath is permanent, it sounds like it’s time for Lila to see her vet to have her teeth and gums checked. She may need a dental, or perhaps they can just do a scaling. Then, with good food and regular brushing, you can look after them from there.
It’s really important to look after a dog’s teeth because gingivitis can cause serious health problems (heart, kidney e.g.). Let your vet check her and tell you what she needs.
Bad dog breath, how do I get rid of it, and what is causing it?
My maltese dogs have the WORST breath. One of them smells like butt, and the others smells like the seafood section of a grocery store. It makes me sick. What can I do?
I try brushing their teeth once in a while, but it dosnt help but for 1 second, and they hate it.
I would take your pups to the vet to have their teeth checked to make sure that it’s not a more serious problem and just a case of bad breath. You might find that it’s time for a professional cleaning. In the meantime brushing will help and there are also dental treats that you can give them. I like bright bites – it’s designed to clean teeth and gums and it comes in different flavors – peppermint, cinnamon and spearmint – to help with the breath – http://www.brightbites.com/.
