how do I cure my dog’s bad breath?

she is a small chihuahua that has the worst breath.
i’ve given her bones that say it cleans and freshens breath and bought dog toothpaste, but no success.

Sometimes it’s in the food they eat. Try changing it… very gradually though.
They also have “listerine” – type strips for doggies that you just slip on their tongues… they can’t spit them out.
They also have a kind of breath spray for dogs… Keep brushing your dog’s teeth every day like you would your own.
Try different flavors of tooth paste… there is also an additional floride goo that you can put with the toothpaste.
Look around.
Good Luck !!
OOOHHH.. and watch that your doggie isn’t eating dog poop !!

Cure or reason for bad puppy breath?

Just adopted an eight week old golden doodle with very stinky breath! It used to be skunky, like I’d expected, but now smells very bad, like poop! He does not eat his poop, only his dog food and has just been de-wormed.

Any cure to rid of it or reason for why it’s happening?
I did not rescue my dog I bought a dog, and I do care for dogs in shelters. In fact my other two dogs are rescues. I don’t need any ridicule, just a solution. I’ll contact the breeder about it to see if it’s normal.
And I know it’s puppy breath it just smells beyond that extent..

The puppy is 8 weeks old! It’s called “puppy breath”. It will subside once he gets older.
