How can I cure/get rid of my nerves?
I get terrible anxiety! When I used to go on school trips and basically whenever I leave my house of change my routine! When I first started school I was a wreck, I felt sick I was scared, getting ill, etc. Then I got into the routine of going to school and I was fine! Now going to college this year I’m worried it’ll happen all over again!
Also whenever I meet guys or go out with them my nerves get the better of me and I end up backing off or feeling out of my comfort zone! Like if I was to go stay with a friend for the night I’d get really nervous and want to go home! When I say its bad, its bad. At worst I get panic attacks and have to use my inhaler because of breath loss.
What can help? Can hypnosis? Or what about counseling? My nerves always get the better of me and I hate it! please help!
thank you xxx
you need to relax and the only way you can do this is to do some meditation and breathing exercises.
Try this: sit in a comfortable place in your room, switch off the TV and any music playing, sit down preferably on a mat on the floor with your back upright, close your eyes and clear your mind of everything do not think of anything. Then dry taking deep breaths, hold them as long as you can and then slowly breath out repeat this a few times, increasing the number of repetitions each sitting.
Finally, close your right nostril with your thumb and breath in slowly through your left nostril until your lungs are full, then close your left nostril and Breathe out through the right nostril. Breathe in again with your right nostril deeply and breathe out with your right. Repeat this process as long as you can increase the number of times with each sitting. After you finish, relax your body do not get up immediately. I hope yu can do this to calm your nerves.
