Chronic Bad Breath Treatments 2 Chronic Bad Breath Treatments

What treatment is there for bacterial imbalance on tongue?! HELP :( ?

Im a sufferer of chronic bad breath and its really hard because no one is taking me seriously (doctor, dentist) i think my problem is i produce too much anaerobic bacteria , a more substantial amount than the normal person, ive read that this is possible, this leads to bad breath because the bacteria gets out of control plus i have a fured tongue where the bacteria gets trapped, i try to control it by garagling salt water and using oxygenated mouth rinse, a tongue scraper and brushing my teeth 3x a day but sonn after the bb comes back!! is there any other treatment that can balance and reduce the production of this bacteria. I really need a solution its getting me extremly depressed!

Thnx

Hello, Other than an oral infection or infected teeth there are two other causes for chronic bad breath. (1) Sinus infection and (2) Digestion issues. There are doctors that specialize in both of those conditions and I suggest you start with an ENT Dr. (Ear, Nose & Throat) specialists. Good luck and I wish you well.

ahhh I’m not sure your going in the right direction. Some causes of halitosis(bad breath) are, food in between your teeth, gum disease, yeast infections, sinus, kidney or stomach problems..Begin with the easiest first make sure you brush and floss after every meal. Have your gums checked by your dentist.. Take acidophilus three times a day for 6 weeks.. If all of that does not work.. Have a blood test to see how your kidneys are functioning.. Also do you get headaches?? possible sinus…. this is a good start
