Can my tonsils give me bad breath?

I brush my teath regularly and keep my tongue clean but fresh breath doen’t last very long for me

yeah maybe..if they smell bad

I have a 10 year old son who does not have any tonsils or adnoids but has bad breath, what could it be?

He has no cavaties and visits the dentist regularly. The dentist is impressed with the cleanliness of his teeth. He could have just brushed his teeth, including his tounge and his breath will have a bad smell after the mint smell is gone.

Could be he is not drinking enough fluids. Bacteria bread in a dry mouth.
Check his teeth – is he brushing and flossing enough?
Sinus or ear infection?
Best way to know for sure – see a pediatrician.
