Bad Breath Tongue 2 Bad Breath Tongue

white tongue? bad breath, pink patch?

i’m 14 and the coating on my tongue is white so i can’t stick my tongue out to my friends (they do it 2 me lol) and i have been told my breath stinks. i have also noticed a little red patch at the right side in the front. it doesn’t hurt it just looks wierd. i’ve had it a few times before and after a couple of weeks it goes away. i brush my teeth and tongue and gargle with mouth wash so i don’t think it can be bad Hygiene.

i drink lots of milk could that be the reason? i eat lots of sweats (not excessively)

We now know that all people have some amount of bad breath, however, most of us cannot smell our own bad breath. Most bad breath comes from the top of the tongue where bacteria grow and produce sulfur containing compounds that smell, they also produce a white stuff called plaque, that is bad breath. Some foods, such as garlic, also stick on the top of the tongue and cause bad breath. Candy is a good source of food for the bacteria so eating candy will increase bad breath from the bacteria. Mints, gums, mouthwash only cover up bad breath for a short time. The real solution to bad breath is to clean the top of the tongue with OraBrush tongue cleaner.
