Bad Breath On Babies 5 Bad Breath On Babies

ceftin antibiotic and bad breath?

anyone heard of or experienced funky baby breath while the baby is on this medication (oral suspension) – the med itself smells wierd too.

I don’t know what happend to my 1st answer.

But when I take an antibiotic called Keflax (for people allergic to penecillian) It makes me burp up a foul smell. So I think it’s something that can happen, but if really concerned read the leaflet that came with it to see what side affects there might be or call your Dr.

Help dog breath – no fancy vet – I’m in the boonies?

I have a saint bernard mix (not sure squished up face) she’s about 8 months anyhow she has bad breath – not horrific just not pleasing.

What could I feed her to help this?

No fancy stuff really I live in a tiny junlge town in south america. No-one is going to be brushing my baby’s teeth – not even me! Scary…..

…..seeing as there is nowhere to find professional training she is not always on her best behavior – I’ve found some stuff on the net though: sit, lie down, come here…basics.

anyhow. She eats veggies if I give them to her just an example… what kind of food helps breath?

-a tips on training site (free) would also be deadly!

Thankx
once again – i live in the middle of nowhere there are no such things as doggie treats around here.
thanx anyhow.
haha yeah i’ll find some gaint bones. The only place to buy meat is right up front…you can see the whole cow hanging there.

kinda gross.

If you can get your hands are large bones and I mean large, nothing smaller then a cow. The way to tell if the bone is large enough is if the dog can break pieces off it is too small. If he can just chew on it intact it is large enough. This will clean the teeth well.

Otherwise I would encourage large hardwood stick chewing and really consider brushing his teeth. You don’t even need to tooth paste just a brush or cloth after his meals. If there is a native mint or other plant that people chew on for good breath you can try adding that but make sure it isn’t toxic to animals.

Best of luck
