Vegan/Vegetarian bad breath?

I work at a place that has a lot of vegans and vegetarian employees and customers. I’ve noticed with almost all of them that their breath isn’t the greatest. Their breath smells like mothballs. Why is that? Can excessive amounts of soy cause that? I don’t mean to be offensive to anyone, I’m just curious since I work with it all day.

mothball smell on the breath is nasty . I think it’s milk and dairy, I smell it on known meat eaters.

Soymilk, almond milk and stuff without the acid forming properties of dairy doesn’t leave a filmy sour coating in your mouth-
you just got bad breath people.
