bad breath guy.. and yes we kiss. HELP!?

ugh my bf always has bad breath.. i tell him sometimes like i hint it but it just never stops.. ugh i love kissing him.. hes a good kisser, but i hate smelling him.. help?

I am in the same boat you are. My last b/f had bad breath when we met, but he began going to the dentist & getting his gums & teeth cared for so by the time we broke up, his bad breath was gone. I know that’s what this b/f needs too. You can do one of two things; keep offering breath mints & listerine & hope he’ll catch on OR you can say Honey, I really think you might need to see a dentist about your gums because sometimes (ok, little white lie) your breath is bad & that’s a definite side effect of gum disease which can lead to heart disease, did you know that?! lol And hope he takes your concern to heart & sees a dentist……Unless it’s coming up from his stomach, in which case you can give him a prilosec otc or a zantac every single day for a couple of weeks & see if that clears it up!!! Probably more info than you wanted, but it’s all true & helpful, I promise. Hey, does he brush his tongue when he cleans his teeth? That’s also a source of bacteria that leads to noxious breath…… Anyway, good luck to you – I know what it’s like about them gooood kisses!!!

how to deal with a boyfriend, who has really bad breath, all the time. and wants to kiss?

he always feels hurt, cause i push him away and wont kiss him, but his breath stinks really bad, it some times smell as if he letted one out, yes that bad!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be pretty honest…this is not something to just do nothing about and hope it gets better. My husband sometimes has bad breath from too much coffee. Sometimes, I too, have had bad breath. My daughter and husband just come right out and tell me “whew….you need to use some Binaca or mouthwash”. Then, we talk about that maybe I need to see the dentist. Then I made an appointment with the dentist to see if there were any problems with my teeth or gums.
