14 years old, weird health events, please help?
hi there, for about 6 months i have been experiencing very weird health things. It started out with insomnia, pretty bad insomnia where i would sleep either not at all, or for a max of 4 hours. i went to the doctor for it and got prescribed ambien, my prescription ran out a while ago and i still have insomnia without it. I also began to have weird random depression-like things that arent to bad but just my overall outlook on life has become a little negative. My heart often feels like it is beating very hard, like pounding heartbeat. Sometimes my pulse starts to come out really strong right where my temples are in my head, and it is VERY noticeable without feeling it with my fingers, and it keeps me awake sometimes. I also feel as if i have a shortness of breath. I have gone to a doctor, but it just happens that whenever i go, none of the symptoms are happening, and now my mother wont take me anymore. Does anybody know whats going on or think they can help me out here?
I’ve heard of similar heart condition where you probably have an irregular heart beat. I understand how you feel with the doctors thinking your weird and your mom not wanting to take you. Many people don’t have regular heart beats and its not a super bad thing, its just something you have to live with, but they can give you medicine that calms it down and helps you sleep. It’s also very common with your age, with hormones flowing and things your body isn’t use too. I would drink 8 full glasses of water everyday spread out and carry a bottle with you at school, you will have to pee a lot but your body needs to be flushed out all the time, it will help you sleep. Also avoid caffeine because it will make your heartbeat inflame more in mess up your respitory system. If you have any questions we can chat on im or feel free to email me.
