A beer before lecture/forum class?
Monday and weds are the most busiest days for me cause I have class 11am to 9pm with a couple single hour breaks in between. Would it really be that bad to have a beer or margarita during breaks between classes? The most I could see a prof do is kick me out of class for smelling it on my breath… right? I’m not sure what could happen. I don’t plan on gettin drunk or anything. Ideas? Comments? What do you guys do with a schedule like this?
While one drink is not a major drinking event, it is recommend that you abstain. The first reason is that I assume that alcohol is not legal on your campus. Being wrong on that point, drinking/intoxication in class very well may be. Also consider that it may inhibit your ability to follow the logic of the lecture making note taking futile. The professor will not kick you out of the class unless you were a disruption. Can you handle yourself in a mature manner while drinking alcohol? Only you (we all hope) know if you can.
In the end, one drink is not a major problem but it is just better to wait until your lectures have been completed to have the drink.
I may have minor asthma but I’m not sure?
I have small attacks, like around smoke (of ANY kind), around dust or while exercising. My throat feels like it’s going to close up, I can’t breath, I get lightheaded and dizzy. I start wheezing and coughing and when it’s bad enough it causes me to start crying. Could that be asthma? I do smoke but it happened way back before I started smoking. It’s been happening since I was a little kid. I never could run very fast and no matter what good shape I’m in (I used to go to the gym every day and power walk 12 miles at least every day, I can not jog or run because my lungs feel like they will collapse. Could it be asthma or just naturally unable to ever develop stamina?
I posted this in the allergy forum but got nothing.
sounds like it,, but your making it worse by smoking.. so you have small attacks around smoke and you smoke that doesn’t make sense to me but go to a pulmonologist if it still bugs you..
