Sometimes bad breath comes from stomach problems. Try some anti acid. Or you might also try gargling with Peroxide (don’t swallow). It will fizz like crazy but it does kill bacteria which may be causing an odor problem. Keep the dental appointment, get your teeth cleaned. It will also be a big help. While your there discuss the odor problem with the dentist. After all, he is the oral specialist. Good luck
What’s the best way to cure bad breath besides brushing/flossing all the time?
Brushing all the time wont help. It is likely because you have bacteria growing on the back of your tongue. To combat this, brush your tongue with your toothbrush or use a tongue scraper (available in the toothbrush section of your drug store). WaterPik makes a great high powered water spray tongue scraper/blaster that does a good job. The basic model is about $30 at Wal-Mart. It will keep your gums in shape too if you use it to clean your teeth.
Has anyone tried bad breath cures?
has anyone experienced any of the producst to cure bad breath? I want to order, still do not know which one, as there are many out there, all claiming to be the best.
Hve been to the dentist so many times, nothing helps really. Want to try this resort!
In my experience, the most effective bad breath cures have come from ingredients I could easily (and cheaply) find from my own kitchen. It may seem surprising at first, but that’s the fact… Home remedies have worked best fore me.
Check out the source below for a description of these cures and how to get them. They’ve been my best option till date for effectively stopping bad breath.
Symptoms:
- Sore throat.
- Unable to keep down food.
- Hard to swallow/drink/breath at times.
- Huge migrains.
-EXTREMAL BAD taste in my mouth.
-Cough.
It’s been going on for about a week. And i still fell pretty bad ans i have to get back to school
It’s probably a cold or the flu. It’s just a bug, nothing to worry about. Have some tea, take an Advil and some cold meds and get plenty of sleep
is there a diagnosis for this…?
I bruise extremely easily, I usually don’t know where they come from because they didn’t hurt at the time, I constantly am having my legs fall asleep and when they do it hurts so bad I can barely move or I fall down if I try to walk. I black out when I stand up too quickly and get dizzy easily. I never have any energy and if I try to run I am out of breath within seconds. I have no idea if any of these things relate to one another, so I’m wondering if any of you do?
child u need a doctor and yahoo answers go right away……..
Bad Breath…if it’s caused by bacteria and rubbing alcohol kills bacteria; does it work to gargle small amt.?
Some have pockets to clean with water pick plus+
So it was heard to add table spoon rubbing alcohol and again adding HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. It seems to make sense. Any ideas?
That may make some sense, but shall leave ur health at risk !
“Rubbing alcohol products that contain methyl alcohol (methanol) can cause blindness or death when consumed…..
….
Rubbing alcohol should be used in a well-ventilated area. Some cautions go so far as to say protective gloves should be worn while using it. Poisoning can occur from ingestion, inhalation, or absorption of rubbing alcohol.
Isopropyl rubbing alcohol is poisonous and can cause permanent disabling illness or death if consumed.”
Does hydrogen peroxide help keep your mouth healthy?
My dentist told me to take equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water and swish it around in my mouth once a day for about a minute. He said it would kill germs that cause bad breath and generally make my mouth healthier. Is this true? It seems to be working because this morning when I woke up my morning breath didn’t smell as bad as usual and my teeth felt cleaner.
yes, it also whitens your teeth. better than the brand name whiteners! just use mouth wash after!
My wife seems to have incurable bad breath. It has been going on about 3 years now. The bad breath is continual throughout the day. We’ve been to two denist who say she has nothing wrong in her mouth whatsoever. She’s only had two cavities her whole life. Even if she brushes, scrapes her tongue, flosses, and uses mouth wash, her bad breath remains. Even if she did it 2 mins ago. We’ve also tried drinking tons of water throughout the day, etc.
The breath travels 3-4 feet and has a strong smell of feces. I am pretty confident from research that it’s coming from her stomach. We’ve seen 3 stomach doctor’s who haven’t been of much help. We also went to an ear/nose/throat doctor who didn’t much advise either.
The only thing that seems to improve the breath is eating (which keeps it smelling better for about 45 mins).
Aside from that it has been a hopeless battle and intimacy is near impossible. Any suggestions or advice for treatment, or personal experiences would be appreciated!
Before getting embarrassed, you have to get rid of bad breath earlier or else it become a malignant one and incurable. Bad breath is a serious social problem for many people regardless of age and status in life. To combat bad breath you must first know what causes bad breath. It starts up from bad cavity. Brushing the teeth to remove plaque and tartar helps, as does treating canker sores that may appear on the gums and taking other steps to maintain good oral hygiene. Unless bad breath is kept under control by tooth brushing and flossing and where necessary, the use of antibacterial products at http://www.oramd.com/bad-breath.htm the condition will recur.
