Bad Breath Bleeding Gums 4 Bad Breath Bleeding Gums

what can be done if your gum is bleeding during brushing teeth and causing bad breath?

i have a rotten tooth that needs to come out but don’t know how much it will hurt to get it replaced?

I just did a filling for my rotten tooth and it caused me ~$90 at a dental clinic in Lucky Plaza 3 months ago. After doing that, my breath was still bad and my very red-looking gum would still bleed during brushing. These problems were toned down a lot after I started to use the dental products that my husband bought me. The brand of the dental care products is called “Neways” and I am using UltraShine Radiance® (toothpaste) and Eliminator® (mouthwash). Always Got Bad Breath? :s?

Hey,
Ive had this bad breath for years now.. ive lways just put up with it, and hoped nobody has noticed all that much, even chewing gum doenst cover it fully up. I can smell it under my own breath. And i now “think” ive found out what it is. If i use a toothpick between my very back teeth (top) on the right hand side, and put the toothpick between the teeth, my gums bleed, and the toothpick smells really bad, i also get this bad taste if i suck around that area.

I was wondering if this will be the problem?
If so, why have i had this for so many years? and why hasnt my gums just naturally healed?
Also, if this is the case, is there anything i can take to make it get better? Preferably something without having to go to the dentist.. Would be quite embarassing.

I brush twice a day, for 2 minutes, use floss, and mouthwash.. and clean my tounge, it just wont go!

Thanks in advance,
Sam.

I had problems with bad breath, and my girlfriend at the time (a dentistry student) put me on a regimen that worked:

Morning and afternoon:
Rinse with mouthwash
Brush teeth (3 minutes or the length of a pop song)
Rinse with mouthwash again

Evening:
Rinse with mouthwash
Floss
Brush teeth
Rinse with mouthwash again

I personally use flossers, disposable plastic with silk floss in them. They smell when you dig between the teeth, which is good because you are getting the smelly stuff out (that you are discovering on your toothpicks). The flossers will help toughen your gums.

If this doesn’t do the trick after 4 days to a week, then definitely see a dentist. You could have a problem with your gums or a digestive problem that is causing the halitosis. Those things would need to be treated by a dentist or medical doctor.

Good luck!
