Will ths pregnancy get any worse?
I am only 20 weeks pregnant. I get dizzy when standing for any periods of time. Could be for 5 minutes or half hour of standing. It varies. I now have really bad heartburn. Bad enough that my chest hurts and I get a ball feeling in my throat. Rolaids seem to be what helps best. Although I havnt tried anything other than tums..which didn’t help. I’m jet tired all the time. Sometimes shortness of breath or leg cramps. Since this is all happening now at the half way point, will of get worse or is this what it is throughout pregnancy?? It’s just easier to complain to y’all than my nubby who says it’s all in my head. I hate that LOL
Hang in there! You’re at the point where it starts to get easier. There are a few things you can do to make yourself feel better.
For the fatigue and the dizziness, make sure you eat well (fruits, veggies, meat) and take your prenatal vitamins. Have your doctor check your blood count, you may be low in iron.
The heartburn sucks and it doesn’t go away but you can ask your doctor about which liquid antacids are safe, they work better. You can also a litle bit of milk, the relief is short, but it helps. Don’t drink too much, a lot of liquid will make it worse too. In the same vein, don’t drink while you’re eating, it makes it worse too. Avoid tomatoes, citrus, and fried foods.
Exercise when you feel good, rest when you’re tired. I do some gentle prenatal yoga and it helps me feel better and helps stretch tight muscles.
Take it easy, making a baby is hard work, but it’s so worth it.
Does anyone ever get those little white balls on there throats?
I keep getting these little white balls on my throat and I can’t get them off. When they come off they smell real bad like bad breath. My co-worker told me they were called puss pockets. They seem to fall when I am talking or something then I cough them up. If I chew it or swallow it, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. can anyone help me get them off. can i drink salt water or something?
The other two may or may not be right…. depending on how I’m reading what you’re saying.
Am I reading it right that they are little balls that are NOT attached to your throat or tongue and kind of smell like vomit or bad fish? Or are they actually white balls actually attached to your throat?
Is it soft and kind of looks like a little beige/tan mis-shapen seed?
If they are not attached to your throat, then it is probably plaque that you have coughed or spit up. Yeah, it’s kind of gross, but just spit it out in the trash. Don’t squeeze it or chew it, as that will make it smell worse.
All it means is that you may not be brushing your teeth as fast as plaque may develop. It shouldn’t happen very often in the first place, but if it happens more than once every few months, you may want to switch toothpaste to something with more tartar control and/or brush twice a day.
