WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY POEM(only 16)BE HARSH!?
Is my poem any good???????
Sorry for the bad spelling
Band Aid
A cut
A scrape
A rip in the flesh
Pain
The wound will heel
The scrape will mend
But not every hurt is skin Deep
The surface now smooth
The cut Covered up
A smile hides the hurt
A laugh covers the pain
A joke cements the lie
Just as a band aid hides the cut skin
The smile hides the sole torn to peaces
A sie The only hint,
of misery
Pain
An unending torcher
Pain so deep
There are,
No tears, no Breath, No Hope
And then
The smile.
The lie
Again covers the misery
Only to peek through
as light does through a key whole
To the riped shredded person held within.
Very good! I like how it is set out and the way you put it and everything, and I like the descriptions and elaborations on each thought. Well done!
A tip? Uhm… Well I think you should change the 4th Verse 1st Line:
But not every hurt is skin Deep
I think that the word *hurt* doesn’t make sense here. But not every *hurt*? I get what you are trying to say, but I think maybe you should say something like *But not every tear is Skin Deep*. Just a suggestion though.
And I think that you should fix up the presentation errors – I know spelling and like capital letters and stuff.
Very good! Keep up the great work!
