Natural remedies for anxiety, be it OTC medication or herbs?

I’ve read that certain herbs can relieve anxiety, but I don’t know the legitimacy on this. I was also told there are OTC meds for anxiety. Somehow, I find this unlikely. But in any case, where can I get such herbs and medication? Please provide brand names, if at all possible.

For the past 3 weeks, I get these shocks of adrenaline. I’m always feeling uneasy. Shortness of breath. I can’t enjoy anything anymore. I have prescription anxiety medicine Lorazepam, but all it does is sedate me. I don’t notice it really helping my anxiety. I guess it’s good, because when it’s really bad, going to sleep seems to be the best option. I also have an exam coming up in a week. Just thinking about it sends a shock of adrenaline through my body. I can’t imagine the day of the test. Any suggestions on how I can calm myself the day of the test? Please, I need guidance :(
LOL! If this spammer actually read my question, he’d know I already have Lorazepam. That’s funny.

One of the “side effects” of Lorazepam is anxiety/depression… You’re not going to win taking this stuff. Recent tests have shown that these drugs are 70% useless for what they’re prescribed for.
Check out the Bach Flower Remedies — there are 38 different ones to choose from for your particular emotional state. They really work. Rescue Remedy is a Bach combination that’s highly indicated for stressful situations.
The herb Valerian is good for stress — 5-10ml of tincture a couple of times a day in some water and 30 minutes before bed. It’s not a narcotic.
